Scope and Content

Fragment of a sermon on the advantages or blessings of the Gospel. In quarto: by a hand resembling Dr Calamy’s, but found among the Baxter papers and so accidentally marked on f 59v by a former Librarian, but evidently of a later date than Baxter’s lifetime.

Includes: ‘he had said; no Liberty is worth the naming in comparison of that which I give. Where the Spirit of the Lord Christ is, there is Liberty: and no where else.’ f 59v: ‘Various MSS of Mr Baxter.’
