Scope and Content

Baxter’s review of the circumstances under which he wrote his Saints Everlasting Rest’ 1650, and his later thoughts on what he had written; serving as a preface to a discourse on ‘The Future everlasting Rest and Blessedness of true Believers’. Both parts of this article seem to be unfinished. With a ‘Postscript’ referring to the antinomian controversy about Dr. Crisp in answer to a certificate prefixed to Doctor Crisp’s Works (1690).
