Scope and Content

Judgement on two cases of conscience. The first being on the validity of a marriage between Caius and Julia; secondly on a clergyman ordained by the Bishop of Worcester, under 24 years of age.

‘To speake first of the text, it is plaine in the words, that it was the Same case that Christ spake to, both to the Pharises & privately to the Disciples:’ f 148 v: ‘Ri: Baxter. Acton Aug. 7. 1667.’
