Account book of a small brewery and shop in the Llysfaen district

The entries on pp. 1-49 in a refined business-like hand, seem quite foreign to the rest of the ledger; they belong to the years 1807-8, and seem to have nothing whatsoever to do with the Llysfaen business. The brewing accounts begin on p. 50 and more or less extend to the end ot he book, ranging from 1824 to 1840. Particulars about purchase of barley, potatoes etc. In several hands; some entries of very differing interest.
