Administrative / Biographical History

MB ChB Liv 1922, MD 1943, MA 1945; DCH Eng 1946.

Sheridan was born in Liverpool, where she gained her medical education and held junior hospital appointments. She was assistant school medical officer in Cheshire and later in Manchester. Sheridan wrote a number of plays which were produced in Manchester in the 1930s.She was a member of the Medical Women's Federation. Sheridan was later medical officer to the Ministry of Health.
