MB ChB Manch 1923.

Marjorie Thompson, later Burns, gained her medical education at the University of Manchester where she was president of the Women's Union. Thompson practised for a time in Stalybridge and Hyde. In 1927 she went to Rio de Janiero to marry Mr W.R.W. Burns. She died in Rio March 1929, aged 29.
