Administrative / Biographical History

Daniel Roberts farmed Bryn Adda in the parish of Pentir near Faenol Hall. However, on account of the building of thegreat Faenol Wall and the incorporation of Bryn Adda in the park, he built a new home by Penrhos and called this also Bryn Adda. It was completed in 1872.

Daniel Roberts was one of the most prominent farmers in Caernarfonshire and equally prominent as a Methodist layman. He was the father of Judge John Bryn Robert K.C. who died in 1931.
