Administrative / Biographical History

Much light on the persons mentioned in the songs can be given by J.E. Griffith "Pedigrees of Carnarvonshire and Anglesey Families". The book itself is of interest as reflecting the habits and obsessions of a certain coterie of Anglesey Squires and clergy in the dull days of the early Georges.
