Accounts of Y Traethodydd in the hand of Daniel Rowlands, together with memoranda of agreement and sums paid for articles.

Rev. Daniel Rowlands, 1827-1917, was born in Llangefni, Anglesey and educated at the Bala C.M. College and the University of Edinburgh.

In 1865 he became the editor of Y Traethodydd and on the death of Rev. John Phillips in 1867, he was appointed to succeed him as Principal of the Bangor Normal College. He retired from his post in 1891.

He had two sons (John and Llewelyn) and three daughters (Anna, Menai and Olwen).
