Scope and Content

Three detailed drawings side by side of the spinal cord exposed at operation and a needle being inserted. The patient is known to have been suffering from meningitis and paralysis of both legs, see patient file for more details. Annotations on the back read "Fig 23 patient's name 6 1/2 22.11.35 drawn 8.11.52 Manchester University neurosurgical dept please return" and "52/12/12/10 Butterworth".
