Scope and Content

Large ross drawing of coronal section of the brain. Annotations on the back read "MRI Jefferson patient's name glioma".

This image features as figure 24 in the publication G. Jefferson & H. Jackson, 'Tumours of the lateral and of the 3rd ventricles', Proceedings of the Royal Society of Medicine, 1939, 32, pp.1105-37, in which it is described as follows: "Intraventricular tuberose sclerosis with embryonal type of glioma in 3rd ventricle".

Signed by the artist in the bottom right corner.
