Scope and Content

Ross drawing of section of the brain after a tumour has been removed. Annotations on the back read "Tumours of Lat & 3rd vent 1939, patient's name intraventricular tumour, Jefferson MRI" and "56020811, patient's name, papilloma choroid plexus".

This image features as figure 15 in the publication G. Jefferson & H. Jackson, 'Tumours of the lateral and of the 3rd ventricles', Proceedings of the Royal Society of Medicine, 1939, vol.32, pp.1105-37, in which it is described as a"diagram of papilloma of the choroid plexus, right lateral ventricle".
