Scope and Content

Drawing of a bone flap turned down at operation showing the surface of the brain with an indent in the centre with a small outline diagram of the patient's head in the bottom right corner to show the position of the incision. Annotations on the back read "Jefferson M.R.I patient's name 25.10.37 men" and "meningioma. 231 Davey avi C.cum A/".

The date written on the back of this picture is thought to b an error as both the patient file and the rough sketches associated with it show the patient to have been treated in 1939.
