Register of Ships' Voyages, commencing May 1843, giving place of starting, places aof call, length of voyage, references to incidents and accidents, to ships lost and vessels sold. Names of ships particularly interesting. Though there is no explicit reference on the exact point, there is not much doubt that it was a register belonging to the firm of the Messrs. Davies of Menai Bridge (of whom Richard Davies, M.P. for Anglesey, was the head and founder). It was found amongst the papers of his son, the late H.R.Davies, D.L., LL.D., of Glanaethwy, and would more fittingly be placed between Bangor 3497 and 3498.
