My dear Miss Faithfull__ is ___that we shd have met before this, that, besides having the pleasure of seeing you, I might have had an opportunity afforded me of thanking you in person for the painting of the Old Oak, & Park of Helmingham with which I myself am delighted. - I intend to have it hung in my study at Peckforton in Cheshire where I hope to show it you. - I am ____for any _____ of your kindness in making me this ____ present, & pray accept my cordial thanks for it. We shall if all be well, go to Suffolk the end of next month, & we so hope that you will join us when convenient___ ___ ____ long visit - If Miss C______ wd.
