Scope and Content

Dear Mr Faithfull, Papa desired me to write to you to announce that the day for my marriage is fixed for Tuesday the 15th of this month. -Shall you & your family be able to be present? I fear not - but still I will hope there is some chance of it - you know how anxious I am that it should be so & how happy it would make me - how the move is it will probably be my last opportunity of seeing all of you whom I have known & esteemed so much for a very long time. - However at all events I shall [preserve] an affectionate recollection of all your kindness & of the happy hours I have spent in that cheerful happy room at the Parsonage. - Will you write your [daughter?] & in the first place to excuse my forgetting & in the second to be so very kind as to tell me our ___the names of some of the first ranking women they mentioned the other day. I recollect W___K______ & Harrow & La____Wiltshire & Edwards but no others. Believe me Yours sincerely, Blanche G Cecil.
