Scope and Content

Has withheld her small contribution to special election fund until she had heard if Central Society was responsible for ill-mannered women who interrupted speakers at Albert Hall meeting. A friend 'said not and directed my attention to Mrs Fawcett's letter'. Approves of asking questions but thinks if they are not properly answered questioner should rely on sense of fair play in audience to persuade speaker to answer fairly next time; to interrupt speaker is 'to say the least of it bad manners'.
