Fragment of a letter evidently in answer to question about scarcity of women in Parliament. 'The reason why there are not more women in Parliament is not shyness nor lack of courage. They merely have not the same type of brain as men, and think too quickly with the result that they cannot work as logically' Doubts if any but a very exceptional woman could be successful at Westminster.
