On paper headed VOTES FOR WOMEN The Women's Social & Political Union (WSPU). She finds she cannot come to Hornchurch on the Friday but would Mr and Mrs Ames meet them for tea the following day at the Writers Club. (Mr and Mrs Ames were members of the WSPU and were in charge of the Hornchurch Branch. Their daughter (Mrs Bayley) sent us a number of photographs of the processions celebrating releases from prison of suffragettes in which her parents figure (See picture collection in Section 'Prison Scenes') Four letters deal with details of the Society's business in Hornchurch in 1908
