Small notebook with manuscript entries by Jean Sharp, a social science student in Edinburgh undertaking a short course in midwifery, containing details of cases attended with staff from the Hospice Maternity Hospital, Edinburgh, including details of mothers, births, married status, and insurance; together with a covering letter from her daughter following her death, providing some context to the notebook.
