Papers relating to training of Elizabeth Mary Hobson as a nurse and midwife, including her Nursing Certificate from East Surry Hospital (1947) with a sample of an exam paper (November 1947), Certificate of State Registration from the General Nursing Council of England (1947) and Wales Central Midwives Board certificates (1948), and Queen’s Institute of District Nursing certificate (January 1951). The file also includes the rules book of the General Nursing Council for England and Wales (amended 1931) and an application for a state registered badge of chromium plated metal from the General Nursing Council for England and Wales.
