Scope and Content

Letters concern the forming of a new international art society and the current Artists International Association (TGA 7050/1083), the choice of Nash's paintings to be reproduced in Herbert Reads writings for the Penguin 'Modern Painters' series, (TGA 7050/1086-1089), a letter concerning a photograph of Herbert Read with 'Adolf's paintings' (TGA 7050/1085), Nash's gift of a painting to Read (TGA 7050/1084) and Cecil Notley's interest in buying a painting by Nash (TGA 7050/1091). There are notes in Paul Nash's hand on the reverse of TGA 7050/1090.
