Letters concern the Paul Nash painting 'Northern Adventure', its attempted sale to the Arts Council, its loan to the London Artists' Association Exhibition, and its eventual sale to Aberdeen Art Gallery (TGA 7050/2608-13, 2617-23); preparations and choice of works for the 'Paintings and Watercolours by Paul Nash from a Private Collector' exhibition at the Leicester Galleries in May 1953 (TGA 7050/2608, 2611, 2613-14); arrangements and rough copies of the catalogues listing paintings in the exhibition and comments on Wingfield Digby's preface (TGA 7050/2617, 2620, 2625-27); a hand drawn plan of the Leicester Galleries exhibition rooms with wall and floor measurements (TGA 7050/2621); the poor sales and compromise in prices at the exhibition (TGA 7050/2628-33).
