Scope and Content

The letters mainly refer to sales, frames, arrivals, requests for and photographing of Nash works. Other topics include an exhibition for C.E.M.A. (TGA 7050/1494), Tooth's (TGA 7050/1497), in Cheltenham (TGA 7050/1503-5) and the Leicester Galleries (TGA 7050/1518). Also Conrad Senat and the 'Counterpoint' book (TGA 7050/1497, 1500, 1502, 1508, 1515, 1519), Tate Gallery interest in 'Solstice of the Sunflower' (TGA 7050/1515-16), the 'Queen's picture' (TGA 7050/1515) and an article in the 'American Magazine of Art' with a reproduction of 'Sunflower and Sun' (TGA 7050/1515). Includes five letters from H.J.Cox and one unidentified, both Arthur Tooth's and Sons Ltd regarding photographs of Nash works, one together with a list of drawings received by Tooth's (TGA 7050/1495).
