The letters largely concern the loan of pictures of and original designs for research and reproduction, including 'Urne Buriall', 'Genesis', 'A Midsommer Nights Dreame' (TGA 7050/2754-62), corrections to the manuscript (TGA 7050/2762-63), the planned deposit of the designs at the Victoria & Albert Museum (TGA 7050/2766-8 and 2772), the publication of the book (TGA 7050/2771) and the return of the borrowed designs (TGA 7050/2773-8).
