Henry Thomas, 10 White Friars, Chester, to Dr. [?] Betws-y-Coed in which Mr. Thomas states that he was very much obliged at receiving the doctor's letter and that he had satisfied the Council that he had been examined on all the subjects embraced in his letter and sent them every testimonial necessary to prove he had attended lectures on all subjects. The only cause he can see remaining to him is the uncertain and expensive one of procedure in law about which he is not very certain as much depends on a technical diffculty.
