Thomas Roberts, Chester to Dr. Thomas, Whte Friars, stating that they have received the opinion of Mr. Atherton, Solicitor General, and regrets that he does not take a more favourable opinion of his chance of compelling the Council to register his name but that it would be little use taking further proceedings until he receives further communication from America.
