R. E. Dudgeon, 82 Gloucester Place, Portman Square to [Dr. Thomas] sataing that Lord Ebury had sent [Dr. Thoma's] letter to him for persual and sataing also that it is evident that Lord Ebury would not interfere in the matter. He notes the Council's reason for not registering him was the certificate of examination was not "to the satisfaction of the Council" and notes that it is doubtful that this would stand in a court of law and that there was no doubt that he could compel them to register him. However [Dr. Thomas] would probably be unwilling to undertake the expense of this course of action and suggests he contacts the Association for the Protection of Homoeopathic Students and Practitioners as they have already done good work although it had been dormant since 1853 through lack of anything for it to do.
