Scope and Content

To Harry, says he finds it very difficult working with the midnight sun; sees a lot of the French in Norway. As regards food, most is tinned but of acceptable quality, they are currently catching salmon trout to eat. Adds that he has witnessed enemy aircraft in Norway during a brief air raid heard news from France on the wireless, not good at the moment, "I suppose some of the "smugs" in England have been a bit stirred up.".

Note says the letter was not received until 17 June (by which time he had returned to the UK).
