Letter

To his mother, a Xmas letter card; he is writing from Calcutta where he has been inspecting units then he went into Burma, where he met Charles McNeil at a military hospital [this was during the Arakan campaign]. Says saw Japanese positions attacked by Valiants. The Arakan country is attractive and British troops looked in good condition.
