To his mother, describes a visit to Hore-Belisha's home, near Wimbledon. In a later note Ridgway says that one of Hore-Belisha's women drivers was the movie actress Kathleen Kelly, but H-B's successor, Oliver Stanley, replaced women drivers with regular soldiers. Also notes H-B's house was bombed at the end of the War and all his wedding presents destroyed.
