Scope and Content

Term : 21 years. Rents and dues, one-twelfth part of produce. Accompanying this are two other documents : an assignment of the above interest 11 July 1833 by the aforesaid William Edwards and William Lewis (who was married to Ellen, widow of William Owen) to four persons, viz., Henry Pritchard of Trescawen, Owen Williams of Gaerwen, corn-merchant; Thomas Lewis of Treddafydd; and Hugh Hughes of Ffrwd Onnen, collier, for a consideration of £189.15.0, and a new lease of the premises by Lord Dinorben to the same four persons, dated 13 May 1844.
