Scope and Content

The settlement of the latter's daughter Frances on her marriage (1835) with Sir Alan Legge Gardner (third Lord Gardner), and abstracts of the title of the Hon. Gwyn Gertrude Hughes (afterwards Lady Neave) to various sums of money expectant on the deaths of Lady Gardner and of her other half-sisters, the Hon. Martha and the Hon. Emily Hughes. Very curiously, the Dinorben family table (Pedigrees, 333) supplies the name of the Hon. Martha (d. 7 Dec., 1853, not 5 December as in Pedigrees), but nowhere refers to the second sister, who according to doct. 26, died on 30 June, 1883.
