between H.B. Mitchell, agent of the Hon. Lady Neave, and Edmund Spargo of Liverpool, mining engineer; permission given to Edmund Spargo to "dig, tunnel, or search" for all kinds of limestone and marble ("but not for any metallic substances") on the farm of Tan y Dinas, parish of Llanfihangel Dinsylwy (136 acres or thereabouts) for a term of three years; terms, £5 a year, plus a royalty of sixpences per ton on all limestone and marble got on the said farm and sold for building purposes.
