A member of the large Warmingham family of Llanfechell; proved at Bangor (2 October 1723). Considerable benefactions to son, brothers, and sisters; wife Margaret Foulkes sole executrix; Dr. Robert Wynne of Garthewin, Chancellor of St. Asaph, and Owen Meyrick [the elder] of Bodorgan, named as overseers and guardians of his son John. Nowhere in the Pedigrees is it made clear that Richard Warmingham was the first husband of Margaret Foulkes, and not Richard Williams of Eirianell, father of Elin, wife of John Prichard of Dinam [Pedigrees, p. 46]. She was the sister of Evan Foulkes, incumbent of Trefriw for a number of years, and concurrently schoolmaster at Penmachno under the will of Roderick Lloyd of Hafodwyryd (in fact, Evan Foulkes had married Margaret, dr. of Lewis Lloyd, rector of Llangybi, and so one of the sisters of Roderick Lloyd himself).
