Scope and Content

Recording visits made to her uncle Robert at the rectory of Rotherfield Peppard. Much visiting and travelling on the countryside. There is a reference (under July 15) to "Mr. Wms. as M.P. for Great Marlow" - this was Thomas Peers Williams, who represented it for 48 years, son of Owen Williams, also M.P. for Great Marlow, and grandson of Thomas Williams of Llanidan and Mynydd Parys. Towards the end of the year (in October) came news of the death of her aunt Margaret, widow of the vicar of Llanrhaeadr D.C.
