Scope and Content

1 Thomas Vaughan of Coed y Cra, co. Flint, gent. 2 Hugh Pennant of Havod, co. Flint. Assignment of a m. called Bolls [p. Mold] co. Flint, as security for the payment of £256 to 2, who, after such payment, shall hold the property subject to the trust mentioned in [no. 6, dated 31 Aug. 1657]. Recites no. 6; that Thomas Vaughan and Dorothy Lloyd, late wife and executrix of David Lloyd (party 2 in no. 6) are threatened to be sued for the debts of Edward Jones (party 1 in no. 6) for which D.L. and T.V. stand bound as sureties for E.J; that D.L. and T.V., for their indemnification from the debts, have borrowed from 2 the sum of £256 to pay the debts. Endorsed with livery of seisin. Seal, damaged.
