Award of Peis Mostyn, esq., and John Gruff' of Grenefild, gent., arbitrators in the dispute between Sir Hugh ap Day Cof, vicar of Holiwell, and Henry Pennant, concerning a sixth part of the tithe corn of Brynfforth, p. Holiwell, co. Flint. Award given is that Sir Hugh is to allow Henry Pennant, the sixth part of the tithe corn of Brynfforth, H.P. is to pay Sir Hugh, 20s. yearly, without prejudice to an obligation wherein H.P. and Res ap Robert stand bound to Sir Hugh in the sum of 40s. Recites that Sir Hugh and H.P. have agreed to stand bounden to each other in the sum of £20 to abide by the award. 2 Seals: 'one bearing a lion rampant, the other the initials 'T.S.''.
