Scope and Content

Devises his portion of the lease which he holds of the Queen in p. Havering Of The Bower, to his nephew William Penant, all his m's in West Smythfeild and Hosier Lane, p. St Sepulchers in the suburbs of London, to William Penant with a reversionary interest to Piers Penant, son of Hugh Penant, man. Moyse Hall and cottage and lands adjoining called North Landes in p. Ardley, Essex, to his nephew, Thomas Penant, 4 tmt's in town of Hornechurch, Essex, to the use of the poor of the town. Numerous bequests to relatives and others. No note of probate. Seal, armorial.
