Scope and Content

Material relating to a proposed ballet production called Un Bal des Argents which never eventuated but which was based on an incident in French mediaeval history, described in the Chronicles de Froissart. The series includes a portfolio containing designs and a storyboard for the ballet, a box of set model pieces, a typescript extract from the Chronicles de Froissart with the original story from which the plot is taken and a ringbinder of administrative material including research material, a plot synopsis and list of characters.
