Artworks not by JTO

This series contains various artworks not created by Julia Trevelyan Oman. The series includes ninteenth century costume designs by Alfred Albert, Allems, Wilhelm, Andreo, E Morriss, Dupendant and Jules Marre, possibly purchased as research material or as individual artworks. There are also artworks by other people including a lithograph based on Roy Dotrice's performance in Brief Lives, a sketch by Lila de Nobili of a scene from The Charge of Light Brigade and a design for Herbert Beerbohm-Tree's production of Henry VIII with an explanation of the provenance of the design and how it came to be owned by Sir Roy Strong and Julia Trevelyan Oman.
