Arabella: Glyndebourne, 1984

Material relating to Julia's designs for a production of the opera Arabella, performed at Glyndebourne with its first performance in front of Her Majesty the Queen. The series includes correspondence, production notes, schedules and details of Julia's production expenses. There are also photographs of set models, rehearsals and performances and press reviews. There are notes on costumes and props, lists of props, research material, costume designs and fabric samples as well as designs for scenery and props and floor plans. There are framed artworks relating to the costume and stage designs for Arabella and recordings of performances.
