Scope and Content

Includes:
• File: F.H. Photos. Includes signed photographs for fans, and colour images of the unveiling of a plaque in his honour on the Grand Opera House, York. 1960s-1999.
• Box marked ‘RSO Management Ltd’ containing two portrait-style negatives of Frankie Howerd, 1960s – 1980s.
• Ringbound volume titled ‘Frankie’s On… Press Cuttings, Volume One’. Contains photocopied press cuttings related to Frankie Howerd’s last show, ‘Frankie’s On’, broadcast after his death, June 1992.
• Press cuttings and correspondence relating to ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’ stage production. The correspondence relates to the sending of press cuttings about the show. Includes programme and poster for the performance at the Chichester Theatre.1986.
• Cardboard envelope marked ‘For Shuna le Moine’. The file contains one fan letter, correspondence about photographs and the release of images, and a promotional advert featuring Frankie Howerd for an Advance Air Cleaner. 1980s.
