Sketches of characters and characters in settings in graphite on the back of the front of six envelopes and one butcher's bill. Inscribed in graphite with ms notes on colours and details. Four envelopes are from the Bank of England, addressed in typeface to Edgar Hockley Esq., at 14 Propsect Road, Walthamstow and postmarked 1916 to 1918. Two are addressed in ms to Mr Edgar Hockley at 14, Prospect Road, Markhouse Road, Walthamstow and dated 7 Sep 1919 and 10 Sep 1917 respectively. The butcher's bill is headed; 'P.J. Howe, Family Butcher, 73 Markhouse Road, Walthamstow', and dated 18 Sep 1909.
