Abstract of title to Penygroes smithy and the messuage of Wernlas Wen, parish of Llanwnda

Contains valuable notes on devolution by Mr. W. Gilbert Williams, M.A., of Rhostryfan. The abstract supplies one or two interesting details about the Rowlands family of Plas Tirion by Caernarvon, especially about John Rowlands, father of General Hugh Rowlands, which are missing from J.E.Griffith : Pedigrees 289 e.g. that he died on February 8, 1864, that his wife's name was Elizabeth Ann R., that he had a daughter Elizabeth as well as a son John (the younger); that his wife died 8 January, 1876. The above properties were sold in 1890.
