First made and written by Doctor Phillip Theophrasty Paracellcy containeinge the Science and nature of Meumye and what mere ought to hold thereof of through 7 Grounded Rules upon the 7 Comon Mettells declared and concluded with a prologue and other thinges thereunto apportayneinge Published and set forth By Doctor Adam Bodonstam [Bodenstein] in the highe German tongue and turned into English by a Lover of the said Scyence to the honor of god and for the benifite of the poore people. [On f80v]: 'This is truth transcribed finis the 6th of August at just 7 ho. pm 1656.'
9. f82v-85 [Various fragmentary notes and extracts on alchemy.]
[f1 has the signature 'John Stacy', who would appear to be the transcriber of this manuscript.]
