Two architectural title pages in ink and watercolours, 68 drawings of alchemical emblems in ink and watercolours, and a number of line drawings throughout the work. The dedication to Sir Henry Berkley, Knight and Baronet, is by Robert Lane, who writes: 'I most humbly present vnto you... my laboure herein.' This is a translation of Raimundi Lulii De secretis naturae siue Quinta essentia libri duo. His accesserunt, Alberti Magni De mineralibus et rebus metallicis libri quinque, which was published at Strassburg in 1541.
