l'Antiquite Diuisee manifeste este cache uoile l'Antiquite difficultes elucidees. [Emblem book without title.] 18th century. Four leaves bearing oval engravings of the four elements, two signed 'W. Hamilton det. C. White scut.', followed by sixteen leaves bearing circular drawings of alchemical emblems in ink and watercolour. Some have titles and mottos, some titles only. The inscriptions are all in Latin, except one which is in German. The drawings are on paper which was made in Amsterdam after 1740.

5. 'Maria Virgo Vel Merc: Duplicati' [Double headed eagle with sword and caduceus, woman with seven stars round head.]
6. 'Separatio lalbi à lacte Virginis' [Tree growing out of vessel with white and red roses in foreground.]
7 'Chaos Pondus naturale' [Crown with planetary symbols.]
8. 'Das Philosoph Ey' [Egg holder with division along centre.]
9. 'Reductio corporum Argenti vivi Creatio Lapidis' [Winged Mercury with caduceus standing in beside dragon.]
10. 'Hermes' [Sun in Zodiac circle with symbol like hieroglyphic monad.]
11. 'Compositio Prima' [Two circles, lower with dragon, upper with tree, green lion, red eagle and crowned bird.]
12. 'Creatio lapidis' [Skeleton holds crow andwhite flower in each hand.]
13. 'Resurrectio'[Christ rising from tomb, as in Rosarium Philosophorum.]
14. 'Rubificatio' [Crowned lion above circle with king in red cloak stands in flames, holding signs of Saturn and Mars.]
15. 'Fermentatio' [Crown above circle with green lion devouring sun, as in Rosarium Philosophorum.]
16. 'Multiplicatio' [Three roses above circle. Pelican feeding its three young on its own blood.
