Scope and Content

[Coronatio Naturae. English. 18th century. An English translation of chaps 1-41 of the Coronatio naturae, with titles only for chaps 42-67; a space is left at the head of each chapter for the illustration. For illustrated copies see MSS Ferguson 8, 208, 245, 253. A note by Prof. Ferguson on the inside back cover identifies the volume as 'a translation of the Rosarium', but this appears to be in error. Pp. i-iv contain lists of symbols for the planets, the signs of the zodiac, weightd and elements; pp. v and vi are entitled 'A catalogue of philosophycall and chemicall books'
