Autograph letter, signed, from W.R. Paterson to Venn Paterson. Thatched House, Thorpeness, Suffolk, 21 June 1920.
Telegram from Isobel informed him of Venn's terrible loss. Always liked Joe. Resigned position but asked to return. Tired by thankless and highly responsible job. Giving this house to Isobel and Kate for summer. Leaves for Coblenz on 16 July.
